Need some help, might've botched a DIY mod.

Hi all,

I could use a little help, thanks. I tried doing that DIY mod on Vamp's page where you adjust the throttle cable. Anyways, I don't know what I did but it idles pretty rough when the engine is warm. Does anyone know what I can do to fix it? Thanks again.

Adjusting the throttle cable should be pretty simple. I did it on my car too. Did you make sure to leave a little slack on the cable? Also work the throttle with engine off and make sure it isn't sticking.

And finally, you don't happen to drive a 05+ Corolla with electronic throttle?

Did you maybe stress/tear/bump a vacuum line while working? Tightening/loosening the t-cable won't cause rough idle, just high idle if you tighten too much!

Nah this is a '01 corolla AT. So when you guys say slack you mean how much moved the nuts and pin right? Does it matter if I tugged on the cable? Thanks again guys
