I need all expert opinions advice please!

I was waiting in line with my car for gas.
I pressed too hard on the accelerator while in park..reaching 5-6000 rpm..

This is a new Corolla with 260 km on it..

Am i screwed? More or less, is there engine problems going to come?

doing it once won;t kill the engine, don't panic. But don't do it often until it's broken in, even then it's not recommended to do it all the time :p

Naah, no worries.
As for breaking in, some people say you should actually beat the engine to break it in. Supposedly its better for the pistonrings. I dont baby cars when I break them in, I drive them pretty much normally.

I don't want a new engine so I shouldn't have to worry.
