Restoration that is.

So i have decided to restore my hachi- rokou with the exception of the motor.

I know is is not a real res but recreating a original 4ag engine might be more trouble than it is worth to me. At any rate the stock replacement for 86 is 1.6 liter but i think it is possible to drop in a 1.8 or perhaps shoehorn a 2.0.

Right now i am working on finding oem parts for my body and finding a good place to get my interior redone.


So rather than googling online web places. I think it seems more credible to get input from fellow gearheads.

If anybody has any input on any thing pertaining to this please share for all to know.

By the way i will be making a online journal on this project with pics and blogs on myspace site and possibly here. So if any has any unique suggestions i will credit you.

First off thank you to the previous post for the links. They were very helpful.

After many hours of thought and meditation. I have come to the desicion I will incorperate any and all possible approaches to this restoration. Right now i am researching porsche and ferrari and how i may apply something to my hachi-rokou. I know it may seem strange and wasteful , but why not use all things to benefit your dream.
