Hello, I'm from Anaheim Hills, CA and I recently inhereted my grandma's FX.

Here are some pics

It comes with the ultra-powered 4alc...I was wondering how much it would cost to swap in a 4age and how hard is it to find those engines.

The only thing I really did to the engine was flip the carb airbox lid and removed the intake tube.

And wow... you grandma doesn't drive! 54k on a nearly 20yr old car!

SoCal has SO many places to buy 4AGEs from. Lots of importers, and 4AGEs aren't worth much. I was quoted by a guy that didn't have any instock that he could pull one and have it in the states COMPLETE for $400! I can't guarantee that the 4AGE will have less milage though, hahaha.

How much do you think it would cost to install it and everything?

Edit: And how about a manual conversion, how much would that be?
