Which Haynes Manual?

I am gathering more books to expand my knowledge and to fill my small head with a never ending desire of wisdom.

I came across this book

Toyota Corolla Rwd Automotive Repair Manual, No. 961: 1980-1987
by John H. Haynes, Larry Warren, I. M. Coomber

This the right one I should get? around $18 in CT

You told me to get one at Whitby Toyota, and I did, along with the brake light switch which costed $56. Aftermarket ones are $26. I will never go back to OEM again other then the brake pads and rotors.

The Shop Manual is too big and hard to look for things. I need a "book for dummies" kinda deal.

I have both Haynes and OEM.
OEM has way more info and is specific to one car. Haynes covers multiple cars. In a book that is way smaller. OEM is the best but I still use Haynes just for a quick reference.

so far i find haynes to be a little more easy on the non-hardcore-mechanic, but it is annoying how it covers multiple cars in their step by step tasks

the OEM manual is a big thick book of knowledge, and it covers ONE year of ONE car.....i guess that explains itself

but using them all as reference is best (for me anyway), i have chiltons, haynes and the shop manual

and then some more general mechanic books to help learn

So, I'm assuming the OEM manual is sold by Toyota right?! I wouldn't mind investing in one of those! Does anyone know how much they are? Any other details would be appreciated too!
