I think I've gotten down to it. Now I just need to find out where the "Igniter" is on my corolla. It's a 1988 GTS-16 coupe. I think it's on the firewall, behind the coil, but I'm not sure.

Is there anyone here that knows where I can find one, besides Toyota, I don't have $480.00 laying around.

Try http://www.rockauto.com first to check aftermarket new prices.

If that's a no-go, visit a scrap yard or ten. It may take awhile but eventually you'll get what you want for a very good price.

When you get tired of scrap yards (years from now, probably), buy a parts car. It's invaluable to have one at hand for emergencies.
