I have a few different sizes of PVC pipe, I think a 2" is right for that seal, get the seal started and then use the pipe on it, tap on the end of the pipe with a hammer, there ya go. You can even get a PVC cap to put on the end of it so you can tap it right in the middle with the hammer.

Exclamation

go to Autozone store (autozone.com ) and get the loaner tools (you pay, then bring them back and they give your money back. You might get away with using sockets, but you should use the right tools to be safe.
