What can you do with 1ZZ-FE to get more HP?

the question is the same with the title. What could you do on 1ZZ-FE engine, so that you can get more HP - the most cost effecient way, or the most radical way? Anybody who has experienced upgrading stuff are welcome, or anyone who has not are welcome too.. I need some inspiration... thanks guys

TRD Supercharger would be the quickest way to get some HP out of the 1ZZFE, you could also go with a turbo kit if you can find a decent one.

TRD SC + Exhaust = teh win!

its the corolla engine cept for the xrs which has the celica 2zz-ge with the ge just like our 4age. and the quickest way to get the most power is to bolt a turbo or supercharger but both are going to cost you $$.

yeah the corolla engine is more for economy. the 2zz-ge witch is in the celica and the xrs has the ge like the 4age does. but yeah a turbo and a supercharger is going to cost you $$.

Toyota pretty much has gotten as much power out of the 1ZZ-FE as is possible without some serious modifications. I don't think there is much you can do that would be worth it.

Why not just make a separate thread instead of hijacking this one?
