my 7A cant rev...!!!

Need some help here.

i have just done my 7AFE conversion. Existing was 4AFE. here is my problem. the car pulled strongly until 4000rpm and its started to losing out power. Worse the rev needle doesnt even rev anymore whn it reach 5000rpm. What could be wrong?

im still using my stock 4AFE throttle body, ECU and so on. My mech suspect it could be running lean on that band

you need the 7AFE ECU dude, the motors may "look" the same but they're not the same motor. I would also think that if you're using the 4AFE TB you may need the 7AFE one instead.

oh... i was thinking shld the problem was running lean, i thought i could just get a piggyback and tune it instead of getting the 7AFe ecu and have to get piggyback again to tune for further enhancement
