AE101 question

Hello,i have a question.
Is there somewone with a '94 corolla gti (NO GTSI) or a 94' with 2 original mufflers left and right?

I want to order that muffler and other parts thats have one left and one right.
But the need a chassic number(JT***EEA1001*****) of a car that have's a original L+R muffler.

Whene i have that number i can order everything i want,to make my car better.
So can somewone please give me his or her chassisnumber?

We have those over here, they're called an fx-gt but since ours are all Japanese the plate/codes would probably be different.

This is a really good NZ parts site, you should be able to use it to find part numbers and then you will be able to order from local suppliers.

That person with the Red hatch was me - from the land of Oz. Don't get here much anymore, but i am back - finally.

The Model number you need is e-ae101-acmzf. This is the GT-APEX sedan model, but from second flange back, they are the same. Will need to upgrade your piping though. The flange on Jap models are built for 2.25" piping, whilst Aussie and Euro built flanges are 1.75" piping.

Also, please note that you may need some bodywork also. The rear bumper is not designed for twin exaust and it will sit too high on the right side (assuming you got LHD).

Hope this helps...

The one i got doesnt have a VIN Starting with JT. It has a 'Chassis Number' Starting with AE101-xxxxxxxx. Dont have the compliance plate on me as i dont drive it much anymore (has become strictly a project car). Will have a look when i get home though, and see if that helps.

Frame Number: AE101-5019922
4A-GE 1587
Color: 205 (Black Metallic) Trim: FV20 (Black)
Trans: C52-15A
Plant M12.

No Build date, but i know from what i have got from Toyota here that it was Jul '91 (YES, it is still an AE101, not an AE92). Hope this helps...

That is all The info that is on my Compliance plate... All they needed over here anyway, and they should have a provision for frame number, as the cars before 1993 (all toyotas, nissans and fords anyway) only had a frame number.

**Edit**: If you need the actual part number, send me a PM and i will go talk to my good mate at Toyota. Also note, these 'Twin' mufflers are purely for show. They go from one pipe to two about 2/3 of the way back... I have looked into these myself and decided it was cheaper and easier to chop up my 4-2-1 headers and make a true twin exaust if i wanted to go that way in the future...
