USA Engine replacement, auto to 5-speed

I'm replacing the 1.6 liter engine in my 5-speed, 94 Prizm with one from a 94 Corolla, automatic. Do I need to buy a new input shaft bearing to mate the new engine to my 5-speed? Is it located in the flywheel or in the end of the crankshaft? Anything else I should be concerned about? Thanks in advance.

there is no pilot bearing on these cars! what you will have to do is change over the flywheel to the new motor i would recomend new bolts! then look at the block plate they may be the same and they may be different

Thanks. I'm trying to make the most of my vacation next week and didn't want any surprises. How much trouble am I in if the block plate is different?

Never mind... Assuming that the "block plate" is the stamped-steel plate between the flywheel and block, it shouldn't be difficult to swap. Thanks for your help.
