03 Corolla S Starting Problem

Hello everyone. I am new to this forum. I have an 03 Corolla S car that is experiecing a starting problem. The battery does not appear to be the problem as I am able to use devices in the car such as power windows, radio, lights, etc. The car makes a clicking noise when trying to start and the status lights on the dash flicker. It appears to be trying to start but not. I am not sure if this sounds like a starter issue or something else. I thought normally when there is a starter issue, it would not make the clicking noise. Can anyone help me with this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum, sounds like your starter solenoid is going, especially if its clicking and your lights flicker when trying to start the car...I have a 03 also and even though the "eye" on the battery shows good this year in colder weather its cranking slow and it never did that before...Autozone will test your starter and battery free....At least on our cars the starter is in front and easy access to replace if needed...Good luck and let us know what happens...Radd Guy..;.

That's what happens when you use DELCO and not DENSO parts. I bet your starter is gone.

So if this is a starter problem...does anyone know where I can get an online instruction guide to replacement. It looks easy enough to get to, I just want to make sure I do it correctly. Any ideas?
