Anyone with the AE92 sedan knows...there are NO sway bars front or rear!
After looking at the suspensions of various AE92 coupes (SR5's and GTS), they look very similar to the AE92 Sedan's...with the exception that the coupes have front and rear sway bars.
Is it possible to swap in the AE92 coupe's sway bar suspension setup into the AE92 Sedan? That means...stealing the junked coupe's bars, struts, springs, and bar mounts.
I saw a strut bar in one of the coupes...would that fit the sedan?
I am certain that a sway bar WILL fit into the sedan...Rev Performance quoted almost $1000 for a TRD one.

Here I am! AFAIK all of them have a stabilizer/sway bar. But the regular 4A-F(E) and GTi (4A-GE) have some differences in the way the swaybar is connected to the suspension. Not sure about the coupe, but I'd say its either one.
I don't know about the interchange between the sedans and the Corolla Sport (coupes), but I can say that the GT-S has a wider front track than the SR5.
When I was in Indonesia a number of years back I saw an '89 Corolla GT-S sedan. It had the 9-slot wheels from the GT-S, 4-wheel disk brakes, 4AGE power, dual outlet muffler with bright tips, fully adjustable seats, twin electric mirrors, skirts and spoiler in the style of the GT-S coupe, Twin cam 16 decals on the doors and GT-S decal on the trunk. Presumably it would have also gotten the suspension upgrades. It did not have the 5-mph bumpers front or rear, it was RHD and had no headrests. It was completely stock in that form according to the driver. I guess what I'm trying to say is that there probably are factory pieces to do what you want. Hmmm. Anybody want to bring an AE92 sedan out to Kennedy Commons this Saturday? We could do some measuring (if I actually go).
I'll be there.. and so will Xenon and proly Ichi (the AE92 coupe crew ) so if anyone has a sedan, bring it by and we'll measure them... btw.. what are we measuring again???
well...the car is not mine...it's a buddys...we got the idea after visiting Standard Auto Wreckers...we noticed that the supensions are very similar minus the sway bars...I'll see if he would be able to make it...you guys probably know more about this stuff than I do... 8)

with more time in your hands.. go to standards and find 2 test "Mice" a sedan and a coupe.. and swap components.. a cheap way to find out. unless of course it fits and your buddy wants to buy them.
since we're on this topic.. I just remembered.. I've looked under my GTS a couple of times, and I don't remember seeing sway bars on there :-? WTF! I'm sure I would remember seeing them.. or even noticing them.
AE101 (93-97) have almost the same springs as AE92. i have a 1993 Corolla lowering springs on my car and it works. it's just that the spring base is a bit wider than the strut base. but since if you're gonna lower your car, might as well get new struts. AE101 struts fit AE92 struts perfectly cuz my suspension (even the strut bar) is for 1993-1997 corollas. oh so is my Air intake. "Expand your horizon" haha juss dont think of that year but look into other years too
OK here's the deal.. AE92 Sedan and AE92 SR5 have exactly the same suspension. And they both don't have sway bars..
The AE92 GTS suspension in the rear is exactly the same is the SR5 (Also Sedan) but the front height of the struts and the postions of the mounts are different in the GTS.. Even the strust bar isn't the same, I had to do some custom work on the GTS Strut bar to fit it on my car..
