97 corolla- what springs?

I just replaced my stock wheels with some 17" inchers(looks pretty tight!). I'm also going to go ahead and replace all the struts and springs. My question is what springs do I need to use to keep the wheels from bottoming out when I take corners or go over speed bumps quickly. I'm thinking of using Maxspeed coilover springs with adjustable height and just extending them to the fullest(no drop) since I can't seem to find stiffer springs without lowering the car.

Dudes, am I thinking correctly?

Thanks!

PS. I'm using KYB GR-2 struts.

I dont know a whole lot about suspension, but wouldn't doing that also give your car the ride comfort of a dumptruck?

That's what I'm afraid of. Stock springs won't do since it allows the wheels to bottom out on corners so I have to go with something stiffer. I guess it's the cost of getting larger rims

I'm likin it. spec-wise and price-wise, but that strut/spring combo will maintain the couple of inches that I already have between the wheels and wells?
