98 Corolla Vacuum Leak

Hello everyone! I am new here and I have a question. I tried searching but couldn't find what I was looking for.

My girlfriend has a 1998 Corolla and there seems to be a vacuum leak and the intake manifold and it sounds like it's comming from where the manifold bolts to the head around number 2 and 3 intake port. Is this a common problam?

I have not had a chance to get into it yet and thought I would check with you all here and see what you had to say. Thanks in advance for your input. :-)
