I just got a '92 all-trac 5spd wagon. Runs great and the clutch feels fine, but when I'm accelerating, there is a vibration felt through the whole car. Otherwise the ride is smooth, even at highway speed when coasting or just off the gas, but as soon as it is under load it starts shaking. Any ideas would be appreciated as I'd like to lick this prob before she shakes apart!!
personally...stay away from gas if you can!
but thats a personal opinion...
the only thing that comes to mind is that the timing is not quite right when its on gas, therefore the gar egulator is almost (most likely) starving the motor!?
i have not had a whole lot of experience with gas, and none with fuel injected cars on gas... so hopefully someone will have the answer or some enlightening infor for you!!
hey uh..lyr do you have any idea wtf your talking about man it just sounds like you threw some slightly related things donw to try to solve this guys problem. and yeah i would check the motor mounts or tranny mounts.

By the way, in north america when we say "on the gas" or "off the gas" means he's either on or off the accelerator pedal. Also we call it "gas" Aussies call it "petrol" Just a misunderstanding really, I'm not sure what you meant by gas, but you could explain what you thought he meant.
sorry guys...
BIG misunderstanding!!!!!! see, because i'm an aussie...i was not thinking american gas, accelerator, i was thinkin you were meaning LPG gas as opposed to running your car on peterol or you 'gas'...
so sorry about that, i did not fully understand what was goin on...obviously!
i'll try to read all posts in american as opposed to my aussie slang next time...
sorry fellas...

Well I'm glad I got some usefull advice before this turned into a lesson on coloquialisms
I suspected engine/tranny mounts since there is a noticeable movement even when just idling. Thanks for the thoughts, though I would have preferred "change the fluids and it'll be fine..."
As for the misunderstanding.... having spent plenty of time with ozzies I knew what was going on right away so sorry for the confusion and subsequent flaming lyr... oh and btw it's Canadian gas, not American gas haha
