I'm not sure that this is what you are looking for but they have a good gallery. More in the way for performance modifications than show cars.

no if you're planning to keep the car for a long time then do a complete job by getting rid of the rust

don't just cover them up with sideskirts

anyway welcome! is your SR5 pure white? or with black front+rear bumpers? cuz i've seen a pure white SR5 that might be yours....does it have meshies on them?

SR5 eh.. seen lots of SR5's always at Standard Auto Wreckers, GTS's you don't see many, so skirts might be hard to find. Standards is on Steeles about 2km east of markham Rd.
I'm sure there's more scrap yards in the area.. just not sure where most of the Toronto ones are, but I'm sure someone here does.

First of all, welcome to the board my fellow SR5 owner

You should come out to our meetings.. My SR5 used to be White with black bumpers and blue interior when I first bought it back in 98.
I can help you out big time on any questions or anything regarding the SR5's I have gone through it all..

For your suspension question, struts are pretty expensive. The springs are about $400 1.6" drop and those are the APEX (The ones I have) For your struts you should probably pay about a bill and change for each strut (KYB's) other than that I don't really know of any other struts for our cars.

You should definetly consider coming out since you're in TO, the meets are great. And I'm sure everyone would be happy to have another AE92 coupe along.

Hey 'me-newbie', welcome! I live in eastern Scarborough and have had my '89 Corolla GT-S since new. I've been looking at them for years but many have hit the end of the road (to wit: Standard Auto Wreckers). I'm glad that there are some enthusiast who are trying to preserve them or better yet modify them (mine's totally stock though). I'm predicting that one of these days we could have a significant number of AE92 coupes out at the Kennedy Commons meet.

I got a good hookup.. I paid about $350 for my KYB struts and $325 for the APEX springs.. taxes in of course (CDN funds). and NO they weren't used.. they were boxed and not one single scratch on them. plus about $220 at Gillman's for install and alignment...

xenon, what are the sizes for the stock speakers (front and rear)? I'll be looking for some speakers after all the repairs.

front speaker are 4inch and the rear are 5 1/4 inch.....but you may have problem with the rear ones.....the rear 5 1/4inch are only meant for that car...unless SR5 and GTS is diff on the back :-?
