Question Updating 98-00 front end to 01-02 spec

I have a 2000 Toyota Corolla, and i'm trying to change the headlights and bumper to 01-02 spec.

98-00 look

01-02 look

Has anybody tried this before? If not, i'm going to open up my friend's 01 corolla and see if it's bolt-on. Perhaps I should write a guide on this if it works. THanks in advance .

P.S. The only reason why i'm doing this is because I got into a stupid parking lot accident, and I need a new headlight on the left side plus a new bumper.

I've seen it done before, I assume you would need both headlights, bumper, grill, and fenders.

I did it on my gf's 99 Corolla. There entire conversion took me about 3 hours. Use this guide:

http://vamp.darkravers.net/DIY01FrontEndConversion.cfm

The only discrepancy I found was in step 3. It says to remove the battery to help you remove the driver side mounting arm. I just used a long extension. Very simple, and I didnt have to remove the battery.

Email me if you have questions.
