AE92 how to get axel nuts off?

Hey everybody im taking the engine out of my ae92 but I cant seem to get the axel nuts loose i sprayed it with rust inhibitor and wd-40, used my impact gun and even tried my three foot breaker bar and all my weight and still nothing. I then tried a mini torch and more wd-40 and the impact gun again and nothing. Any ideas?

Keep lubing and impact gun.

I broke 2 1/2" breaker bars trying to get mine off, the impact eventually worked (and used the torch to heat it up too).

I work at a shop, and I have never had a problem getting an axel nut off. Impact gun + axel nut = axel nut off . Maybe your impact gun isn't powerful enough

Yea what he said. Impacts come in many flavors. As for impacts you are using at least a 1/2" impact right? Because you are never going to get anything like that off with a burp gun. Also try using PB Blaster on those nuts not WD-40. WD works pretty well but I have found PB to be the rust breaker best I have used. If worse comes to worse just get a nice breaker bar that has lifetime warranty and a 5' length of 1" steel pipe and try that.

If that don't work then end-round the situation by taking the strut and upper and lower A-arms off. You needed to change those bushings anyway.

that assumes you didnt need it out to fix the brakes or bearings. just ad PB blaster every day till it comes off. pull on the wrench, dont try to push or stand on it unless youve got wak arms. and dont get too big of a breaker bar. i torqued the stud off my old camry using the only the spare tire lug wrench. yea the thing was probably already f-ed, but i still torqued the stud off with 1' wrench. i decided i didnt need the wheel off so i left the other 4 nuts alone. sold the car a while ago, so dont bother yelling at me about fewer than proper number of studs and whatnot..
