Welp.......it's done!

I won't be doing that again any time soon!!!

What a joke!!! Whoever thought a separate diff was a good idea needs to be slapped!

Jack the front of the car up.............take air intake stuff off. Try to get at the bolt from the top........bottom.........either way sucks! Spill oil everywhere as you pull fill bolt 'cuz front of car's *up*.

Forget to put car down. End up having to jack up rear of car to get diff full enough of oil. Spill more oil. Try & get fill bolt back in & proceed to thoroughly scratch the living heck out of hand & forearm!

What a mess........& what a joke!!! I used Dexron III per Hayes instructions & just left it at that. It's done now!

Rant over!!!

Sorry bringing back an old post, but I am trying to do the same thing for a 91 Corolla and I can not seem to get a socket or wrench from the top nor the bottom. It looks like I may have to unbolt the suspension I just put this new engine in and I can not figure out how the hell to get the fill bolt out. Any other tips?

EDIT...........I DID IT $%^#@! bolt
