Standard Auto Wreckers

Has anyone gone to the yard lately? Has anyone seen any sr5's or gts'?
I dont wanna go in the cold if I dont see anything. Is it worth going? I use to go for my 91 excel, but that was for replacement parts. Anything worth picking up that I wouldnt find on my car?

i dunno... does your car come with a strut tower bar? coz they came with the GTS model, and u can mount it on the SR5 as well.

i got mine at standard but that was a while ago.

it cost around $28 back when Standard didn't mark the price for different items.

it's the first "mod" i have, u can do it yourself very easy.

I got my Strut bar at Standard, you need to do some modification on the strut bar in order for it to fit, and you need to move some things in your engine bay that will be in the way of the strut bar as well as drill two wholes and mounth the strut bar to the firewall.

I got my strut bar for $20, they always have SR5's at Standard. I was there two weeks ago, and I remember seeing a GTS with a strut bar on it. It was on top of another car...

good luck..

yeah.. that was the GTS with the infamous "GOLD" strut bar and Valve cover! I wonder if it's still there. we should have an AE92 coupe meet at Standard's this weekend, it's supposed to be warm all week like it was today.

Bro, see if any of the 92's have the side skirt on them. If ya yank them off for me I will give ya extra $$ for them.

well.. Markham Rd is about 4 exits before you hit Victoria park on the 401.. you just gotta follow Markham rd north until you hit Steeles ave.. then take a right on Steeles and about 4km east of Markham you will hit Standard auto Wreckers.

so you're looking for a job down here eh! good luck man!! maybe we'll get a meet going the day you're down, if it's a weekend. So you can meet the T.O. AE92 crew.
