1996 AC Condensor/Heater Duct

I see the AC Condensor's pipes (from the compressor) leading into the passenger compartment behind the glovebox. I'm wondering how to access the Condensor/Heater Duct Area.

When you open the glove box and look into the top of it, you can see 3 screws. I unfastened them and it didnt do anything.

I want to access this area so I can clean it of all the crap that's probably settled in the 10 years. If I can access this area, i'm going to see if I can put in a nice air filter (custom made by me)--the idea of breathing unfiltered air especially inside a car seems disturbing and nasty. Also, after wiping down all interior surfaces, dust starts to appear within a few days--and I never open the windows, its mostly on Fresh or Recirculation.

Got it! And then I saw that it was way too much work to get to the fan housing and all that. And when I was removing all that, I came across a small black cover (just inside and top of the glove box compartment). That cover contained a yellow tubing connected to something that looked like a sensor. It was kind of scary the first time I wanted to take the glovebox apart--it looked like it would belong to the Air Bags

When I removed the entire glovebox compartment setup, I saw that it really was leading into the Airbag compartment--phew, I was safe with that thing too--probably one of the motion sensors or something. It's a lost cause--trying to clean out ducts and what not, too much labor.

I took apart the front windshield wiper molding (that long black thing that has a bunch of vent holes. To clean it. Yuck--the amount of build-up under that thing (I dont know what its called) is insane. It's so thick--it just looks like every leaf and organic matter has decomposed with grease and every substance on the road. It seems to have "sunburned" so I'm going to get some of that Krylon Plastic Spray Paint and paint it a nice black. Hopefully it works. (Sorry for the off-topic part about the windshield wiper molding vent hole part)
