AE86 restoration

Hi guys! I'm a new registeree to this forumn. I was wondering if anyone of you can recommend a shop around the GTA, that can carry out floor pan restoration or fabrication work for an AE86 project. Thanks.

Trueno, yeah, I've posted it on the tech section. I'm in the Greater Toronto Area and would like some suggestions as to what chassis/auto body prep shops are best to go to. Specifically the floor needs to be repaired and strengthened before I send the whole car out for media blasting. Its just stuff involving sheet metal work that needs to be sourced out...for now!

Trying not to use cliches but, this is a group project car that will be used in a video segment.

watch out for aftermarket parts .... they tend to be thinner and weaker
if you get brandnew aftermarket fenders make sure to rust proof the back side properly before installing them

Deep: sorry about that!

Trueno: No I'm not into the "Uncle Ben's " variety of building up cars Like I intend, its gonna be set up for Autocrossing and road racing while remaining streetable. The rusted floor first needs to be fixed so I'd rather tackle this while its winter.

EK-9: I've heard about your project ae86 and wouldn't mind talking shop. Actually,
since our 86 is a feature car for a video magazine, I wouldn't mind get all of you 86 owners out for a segment here in T.O.

Well, I used to go to them. I used to hit the track with them and for the most part, they are good guys. They fixed my civic when I went over an island in a parking lot when there was 8 inches of snow. And they did a reasonably good job. They installed my car alarm, and my fog lights for me and used to do my oil changes.

The guys in the garage are decent people. But the owner is where I have the beef. But since this recent incident was my friend's experience and not my own, I don't think I should publicly taint the shop name while dragging the mechanics names thru the mud. I have had positive experiences but listening to my friend's story and knowing the type of person my friend is (a very honest, friendly and tolerant person) I will never go back there.

If you must know, I can email people privately about it ... but I don't want to post it up where people just surfing by will read.
