1993-1995 toyot Corolla Engine swap

hey i have a question about an engine swap for a 1993-1995 toyota Corolla i would like to know if you can use a 3.3L toyota camry V6 engine with a 2.0L Toyota Camry inline4 transmission and swap it in to a 1993 toyota corolla if not what would be a good engine to swap into it other than the Celica or the Camry/Scion tC 2.0L inline4 engine to make a respectable amout of HP (Respectable meaning about 300-400+HP) i was originaly thinkin about the Camry V6 because of the displacement the transmission was the only problem because i hate automatic or the JDM Toyota Levin engine and no one could give me an answer to the transmission question so far.

I'm farily certain that you can't hook the 5S-FE transmission to the 1MZ-FE engine. If you're looking to get a car with that much hp, sell the Corolla and get one that comes with it, like a DSM. Just getting the swap finished would cost more than an okay condition DSM.

3SGTE for the win! I've seen 93-97 AE102 sedans with 3SGE swaps done before though, so its possible.

A V6 corolla would be interesting, but I think the extra weight would spoil the handling a little, You may be able use the camry box with custom drive shafts, would be worth investigating, go find a camry and take some measurements.

Remember to consider driveshaft angle.

As for other motors 300hp or even 400ho is not out of the question for a turbo 4age, but if thats your goal a 3sgte would be a better choice.

I am thinking about swaping my Stock 4A-FE for something that has more horsepower, Like the 4A-GE and 4A-GZE. First, I would like to know if the 4A-G(Z)E motors would be a direct bolt on for my '93 corolla? How much HorsePower would I be able to get out of either the 4A-GE or the 4A-GZE?

engine swap

all 4afe and 4age motors are a bolt in but require the correct ems or aftermarket. Mech speaking it is very easy but the wiring loom will need spicing etc.
the 20v 4age is very revy and goes great at about 120kw with a pod and exust.
if on a budget try the 4agze as it can be fitted with a ford falcon power steering pully to the super charger wich is good for more boost and about 145-160kw at the flywheel. The cold start injector needs to be wire so its on at full thottle to supply enough fuel with this conversion on the ecu.

good luck.
