2000 Corolla New Owner - 6.5" Front speakers possible? TRD Lip Kits?

I will be picking up my 2000 Corolla tomorrow afternoon. Fully Loaded LE with every possible option. Sandstone I think is the color. I've previously owned a 1992 Integra, so I'm used to a bunch of aftermarket support in the exterior add-ons. Are there any subtle, not-over-the-top kits? I really like the TRD Valances, but am turned off by the $300+ price tag for a complete kit. Are there any similar LIP kits available for the 98-2000 Corolla? Not body kits, just lips. :p

Also, I've got some high end Focal Componant 6.5" speakers that I've had forever and dont want to let go of. Is it possible at all to fit 6.5" speakers into the doors? I'm aware of the 5.25" stock speaker, but am all for customization. Has anyone done this successfully?

I think they fit. Crutchfield should have a fitament guide.

Shyguy over at Corollacustomz.com sells a front lip thats just a basic straight-accross type thing.

The 6 1/2's will fit with some minor modifications. I don't recall what. I did mine a couple of years ago. Just take of the door panels and you'll see what you need to do.

I want to revisit the installation though to put some baffles or cups behind the speakers to act as a speaker box of sorts to direct the sound forward better. They sound kinda flat with the backs just open to the interior of the door panel.

Hmm I have me a 1999 which should be exactly the same as the 2000. My front door and rear deck speakers are all 6.5s. I've already replaced all 4 speakers and suer enough all 4 were 6.5"
