AE92 It was my baby!

Hello, I knew it was ghetto, and may have been falling apart, but I took care off it as much as I could with what I had. It was my little rocket, but know it's gone, writen-off by the insurance company. So here's some pics for show, I was suppose to enjoy it this summer, just bought the rims last week.

For the accident, I was blindsided by this old couple driving an ford escape suv, they went through a red light. Thank god for witnesses. I'm okay, but my baby is gone. That car was rapid.

How do you post pics??????

Here are the PICS

Thank you very much, and here are the pics.. I hope this works.
This baby had only 206k's on it, it had alot of life left in it.

This is my favorite view: (seems like there is no front end)

I just put the air filter in about 2 months ago: (purchased the MAS adapter on ebay)

Check out my strut bar: (totally bent)

AE92

Well I was at a red light stopped beside a white cargo van, the light than turned green, and me and the van started to turn left. But becuase the suv was coming north bound and I was turning south bound, the van was blocking my view. The van noticed the old couple wasn't goin' to stop, but i couldn't see through the van. And the suv just missed the van, and blindsided me good. And what pissed me off even more was when I got out of the car (from the passenger side, the driver door is jammed) the white van was gone!

Anywho i'm aight, but most of the hurt was taken by my car.

To REN69: For Sure, there's got to be a law, and the worst thing was they said they went through a green light (they trying to screw me) Thank god for witnesses.

it was ae92 1990 GTS made in america, but i touched it up with blue paint, it was the 1600
And it had some go to it, that's why i miss it.

It happened it hamilton, and the insurance company salvaged it today and towed away, they wouldn't tell me where, I think it might be going to niagara to get crushed.

I'm really sorry to hear it man. The car looked great, kind of reminds me of mine except mine is a few shades darker.

How much the insurance giving you if you don't mind me asking.. I've trying to sell my car for the past month and no one seems interested.. So maybe i should just write it off!

Mine is a 1990 as well..

AE92

I got one of my buddies to swap the rims, mostly everything else I parted with. I couldn't have been bothered with it, it was hard to let go. Got some parts and misc. stuff in my garage I still have to decide what I want to do with it. (I know the oil filter I bought last week for it will be returned)

Insurance only gave me 1700 for the car. I owned the car for about two years, and when I first picked it up as is it was 1500, and had to add an extra 400 to get it on the road, it was in need of tlc, I supplied it with care, but know it's gone.

Saw you pics XeNoN, Nice ride, does it have the 4age engine, how many clicks?
With cars that old I find that the best thing to do (because insurance won't give you much money for most cars that are older than 10 years) is to drive it, and enjoy it, until it can't be driven anymore

....

the wreck looks really bad, sorry to hear that... the aluminum blue looked really good too... at least a car can be replaced for much cheaper than a trip to the hospital. I wouldn't expect an old couple to run a red light... I'd expect then to do something overly careful instead that would congest traffic.
