I bought clear taillights for my 1990 Toyota Corolla, but the harness doesn't fit. It says that the taillights are for Corollas 1988-90. Does anybody know of a way to modify the harness or any idea on how to make it work. Thank u all in advance!!

Here's a link to the wiring diagram of your tail lights. Try matching up the new lights wires to the old and do away with the plugs:

I can't get into the site cause it says that I need to log-in. Forgot to say that the tail lights didn't come with a wiring harness. I have to use the one that's in my corolla. But it just doesn't fit. Thank u though.

Sorry, I just checked the site, and they don't have the body wiring for that year (WTF). Oh well, I tried.

pics would help.. I didn't even know they made clear tails for the AE92 anymore.. I've seen them once a LONG time ago.

Hey check on the outside of the new tail lights for the rating. I got some for my camry and there were 2 different harness from 2 different manufactors. One was OEM (trident) and the other one was AIP (after market which is the one that I needed) So it migth be the same on yours. Just my 2 cents
