AE92 Engine Temp Sensor

I was degreasing my engine and afterwards notice that the engine temp wasn't working... can anyone tell me where its supposed to be on a 4af? Pics would be nice too

that would be the sensor that plugs into the thermostat housing? I think thats where it is on my 4af, I will check the imports repair manual when I go back to the shop on tuesday

er... on a 4af/fe i can't remember anymore.... it's a one wire sensor (NOT the white connector) that literally looks like a simple crimp.

it will be a black/yellow wire

Yep mine(4afe) is just black wire with a spade terminal on the end, sensor is on the thermostat housing.

I just figured that wire and sensor on the thermostat housing could only be a temp sensor :p

If you follow the upper hose to the engine coolant neck it should be within a couple of inches around it and it's the only single wire connector.

open your hood... look on the right side of the engine right at the... err back of the block? where the tranny meets up with it and you will see the thermostat housing with the big black hose leading to the rad
