Anyone been on Ebay lately? I browse around a good bit looking for stuff hoping to get lucky. Anyway rac across this turbo and it actually looks like it will work
man thats even more crap to shove between the radiator and the engine. looks like it will work though. if i were you i would just buy the manifold from him and put your own turbo on there. you cant really get a faulty manifold sorta.
you could get fautly ones lol if he made it himself and the welds are shitty, it could crack or warp, my buddy bought a turbo kit for his neon and his manifold flange was all F*cked up, in the machine shop as we speak.. Dunno just my opinion- if you are serious though i would get ahold of some of the buyers and see what they think

With some modifications to the turbo and the downpipe itself it could be made to look decent. I was just pointing out the fact someone is making turbos. Kinda hard to come by for the 4A-GE you know.

well they are out there flashmn... just run you 1500 - 3500 for the kid depending ont he boost you want.
You think I dont know that? if I dont remember, let me refresh your memory, I'm building my own turbokit for a 4A-F converted to 4A-FE with megasquirt running dual injectors from two 3S-FE's with combined cc/min rating for up to 300hp. I'll give complete specs when its done.

oh, i should have probably mentioned this to you long ago flashmn....
there is a guy here in my town here (he's on homemadeturbo.com) who has an ae82 hatch (non fx16 or fx16 gts).... ie, started as a 4ac....
he went to a 4af.... then went with an aftermarket fuel injection setup (not sure what brand) and turbo'd it.... also using a dual injector system....
if you were curious... how he's rebuilding the car (for more power) using a 4agze.... and he's looking to twincharge.... but my point is what you're doing has been done.... i think the gains are lower than what you're shooting for....
just an fyi

Micro, yeah most aftermarket kits suck ass anyways, they're a compromise after compromise, Unless you dish alot of moolah to really get a brandname one with brandname parts.
Toyotaspeed, no doubt someones been down my route. I mean dual injectors and like isnt a new invention, well I'm not gonna shoot for 300hp with stock internals, I'm just saying my fuel side is up to the task.
yeah i would never go a kit unless it was by a brand name company like i would never buy the kits from www.turbokits.com probally just the manifold and fix it up
^^ i agree guys, plus its cheaper lol and you can build everything to your needs,
