dashlight replacement - how do you?

Hello, I am new to this forum. I'm hoping that someone can answer my question. I own a 1990 Corolla LE and I want to replace the burnt out dash lights. How do you dis-assemble the dash to get at the bulbs. I'm assuming that the dash display is in fact bulb based. It seems that a simple chore such as this should not be so complex. donaldo@autobahn.mb.ca

Get a Haynes repair manual... $15 USD, or probably availabe at your local library.

It's a useful thing and tells you amongst many other things how to take apart interior pieces.

My guess is that you have screws on the top part of the plastic trim around the gauge cluster. Take those out then pull out the plastic trim. The rest should be simple... however, I don't know as this is for a 93-97 Corolla, dont know if the previous gen is the same.
