Adjusting the Idle Speed of a 4ALC ('87 Corolla FX)

So I got a little Corolla FX with 99k on the 4ALC engine and the idle has become very slow and even choppy at times. Sometimes it's so slow my car will just turn off if im not moving (happened maybe 3 times so far). I replaced the fuel filter maybe 4 months ago and I run carb cleaner through the carb every 1500 miles, but its still choppy and slow. But anyways I always hear people talking about the idle adustment screw or something like that. So my questions are: Does this screw exist? And if so, can anyone tell me how I can locate it or better yet post a picture or diagram of it. Any other helpful hints or suggestions for smoothening out my idle would be great. Thanks a bunch to whoever has the knowledge to help me out.

Usually on Carbed cars, it's located under the filter housing, right on the carb itself.

k so its on the carburetor itself, but does it look like anything special or is it just another screw? is it typically on the same side as the throttle linkage or would it be on the other side or could it be anywhere? any specific thoughts on this would be helpful. thanks for not being a jerk this time ren. (you may not remember me, but you may recall on the only other thread ive ever posted i got rather mad at you for not being helpful) so yeah good job not being not helpful i think.

actually i just looked at the diagrams given by autozone and that helped me find the warm idle adjustment nob and i turned it about a quarter turn to the right and my car idle sped up so i dont think it will just turn off anymore. still sounds choppy though... but thanks for the helpful link retiredat44.
