guesstimate wheel problem

94' rolla dx 5 spd, as the title says, i want you guys to guess whats wrong with my passenger side front wheel, it seems to have about a 1 second loud "click" when I am about to take off in first gear. I'm not talking about launching the car or anything but rather taking off normally, I'm leaning towards the cv joint. Strangely enough, it doesn't click when I turn, only when i take off normally in 1st gear.

And if this helps, I also hit a curb rather HARD and bent my rim during winter on that same wheel, i'm not sure if my bearing or anything else may be shocked from hitting the curb.

All and all, what do you think that 1 second click sound is?

It does sound like your cv joint. Look around the cv area and check the boot for tearing. If you see old thrown grease, it's time to repack that joint.

update::::: Actually the car makes a clicking/ticking noise when the car slowly rolls, about one click every 2 seconds, and it clicks/ticks louder right when i engage the clutch to 1st and start to move, i remember someone saying i have about 10k miles left before it starts to click real bad when I turn. Is cv joint hard to replace? any help would be appreciated, thanks

At a guess I would say its your inner CV joint (thats the gearbox side).

Your boot may not be ripped, although it may be likely.
As for replacing the CV it isn't that hard, you will need a slide hammer or access to a press to get the joint off, but other than that its easy.

Also it may not be your CV joint (Can only tell so much over the internet).
