05 Corolla Cluster Question

Does anyone who has a 05 or 06 corolla LE agree that the gauge cluster during the day is hard to see.

My wife almost runs out of gas so I drove it for a week and I did the same thing, during the day the gas needle does not light up enough to see it clearly.

Has anyone switched out their gauge cluster and is it hard? I see them on ebay but the mileage thing worries me as it won't be correct.

Thanks.

I drove an 05 Corolla for a month.. don't know what you're talking about.. but you should get your eyesight checked.

Well I would agree but at 32 my eyesight is right on the money and so is my wifes. The LE does not have the same cluster as the CE. The CE in my opinion has a more easy to read cluster that during the day, the number don't need to light up to see them clearly on the speedo and gas gauge, etc.

The LE, the needles during the day don't have enough red light to make it very clear where it is. I also think the plastic is smoked a little to give a nicer look.

Let's see what others think?? Eyesight included, hahah :p
