Since the search function on this page isn't particually helpfull I'll try to help you out a little.
This info was taken from what I learnt crewing for a ae92 track car running a 3sgte
(I didn't help build it or anything I just helped out at a few events), and from various things I read on the internet.
The biggest problem with fitting a 3S-GTE into a the engine bay of a car that had an A series engine is that the A series stand upright, where the S-series are tilted back.
This may cause that the intake manifold of a 3S-GTE to foul on the firewall.
To solve this you can either cut the firewall and move it back (as was done in the race car) or mount the engine further forward. Mounting the motor further forward is probably the easist solution, but in doing so you can create quite a bad backward angle on the driveshafts. Which would take some carfull measureing to make sure it will work.
The other problems will be gearboxes, as the 3sgte never came front drive from factory, there is no easy box to use. Mr2 turbo boxes can be adapted to fit, as can some camry boxes. But I don't really know a hell of a lot about that, so I'm no help there.
Other than that its like any other engine swap, custom mounts/exhaust/piping/wiring etc. etc.
Would you be doing this work yourself??
