Canada Crappy Tire 3157 LED bulb on 99. What do you think?

As I troll through Crappy Tire and saw some 12-LED bulbs for CDN$8 each, I know I can't wait and have to check them out. So I bought two (and all two at that time) just in case, and installed one of them in my car.

Here are two pictures I snapped afterwards:

Light on "tail" (marker lights only)
Light with brake pressed

All 12 LEDs fire forward. LED was installed on left side. Right side houses a 3157 incandescent bulb with high filament burnt and needs replacement soon. Except that little Buurin pic used to mask the plate, everything else was not touched in any way.

What's your opinions on these bulbs?

Well on the first picture the LED bulb seems to be brighter, which is expected anyway. However, in that same first picture the LED bulb also seems to fail to illuminate the entire area whereas it looks like the incandescent bulb on the right side seems to do a fine job of this.

Oddly enough, in the second picture the right light does not seem to light up at all. And the LED bulb, as expected, is even brighter than before.

Perhaps night pictures will do the bulb(s) more justice.

I too have a fascination with LED bulbs

^^every light you see (on the car) is LED

You seem to have a very well rounded out LED complement. What kind of LED configurations you have on each bulb? IOW how many LED shoots forward and sideways?

My main concern when I posted the pics is about their daytime visibility, as some tend to not show well in broad daylight. The right bulb has one filament burnt which is why I need new bulbs. Thought I'll take this chance to go LED. I have some stronger 20LED bulbs (5 front + 15 sideways) on order from ebay.
I have two inverted cone single LED 194s for plate lights too. But one is already blinking real quick...

All of my LEDs shoot forward except for the tail lights. It's been a while since I've done those so I can't recall the configuration on those.

My new LED bulbs (56k hang on)

I ditched (returned) the crappy eurolites, as the stronger ebay 20LED bulbs arrived today. I installed them and took these shots.

What do you think?

These two are with tail lights on only, no brakes:
