AE86 vacuum lines, pfft, who needs those!

if you live in the US the silvertop will not pass smog. end.

most of the vac lines are for emissions, so you dont really have to worry about them (if your going to fail, why make you engine even try, get rid of all that junk)
there is only ONE vac line in my swap that i drive daily and that is from the vacuum port by cylinder 4's throttle body going to my brake booster. there are a couple balancing lines on the bottom of the ITBs but those ehould be untouched and if they where its slf explanitory how to hook them up. there is also the PCV but it is cramed behind the injector loom and should be hooked up ok. you should also plug the front vac line (my back vac line was plugged so i just moved the cap) if you dont know what im talking about, stop and find someone who does to help you through the whole process.

good luck with the swap, mine has some bugs but it is awsome to have a silver top in a 86.

there should be a vac line going from the fpr at the front of the block to its own special port on the ITBs, it isnt usualy removed but if it is; the port is about 3 inches back and 1.5 to the left from the reg spout. from there you need to run to the reg spout probably facing left/down. after all that is done you do the fuel return line from the bottom of the reg and you should be good. those sometimes act up, if you have a chance to check fuel pressure under various canditions, do so (its usefull info). i dont think there are any other lines that are imparative to engine running. if you avoid little vac systems and only hook the nessaries you will notice right away if anything goes even minorly wrong. i live in CA so my mindset on that emmisions stuff is a little different.

There is no such thing as a vacum diagram - at least not in English. Can you speak/read Japanese? The only help you will really find is in the Service manuals - From Japan...

Thumbs up

funny that you talk about the 7m, sam my mechanic rolls around with that setup WITCH IS WAY TO FAST. he has a built motor that gets 300 Whp witch is just unbelivably nuts. not something i want to do, if i wanted something like that i would strap a jato rocket to a lawnchair and put on a helmet (dejavu to that time on the hyabusa)
