Passenger side airbag panel not flush with dash

Hi everyone, we just bought ourselves a new 06 corolla and it seems as though the panel that covers the passenger side airbag isn't flush with the dash. It's more so indented in a little on onside while the other three sides are flushed. Anyone else have this on their's? I am also concerned about the safety regarding this.

Well, your car is brand new. Start a list of things like that you notice, and after a few weeks (when you think you've found all the little problems) take the car and the list to the dealer and tell him you want things fixed. Of course, most of the cosmetic stuff he'll just tell you that's normal, Just like a new house-- inspect it and make a punch list.

I don't see a safety issue. What you describe isn't going to have an effect on the airbag.
