USA 2006 Corolla, weird noises

My new (March 2006) Corolla LE makes a few strange noises that my Camry never did, and since the dealer didn't hear them when I took it in (isn't that always the way?), I'm unsure whether to be concerned or not.

Every once a while i can reproduce the wierd noise on my 05 LE. Brught it to the dealer a couple of times and was told it;s a normal sound from the brake pads. Well, i cannot consistently reproduce the noise and more improtantly have nevr reproduce the noise when i brought my car in.

Did you figure out what;s causing the noise? Anything to share?

No nothing to share yet. Sent an email to dealer asking them to note these noises on my file in case they come back to bite me. Meanwhile the noises continue, but the car is running fine, so I'll wait and see. The warranty will cover any major problems.

Update: drove another new Corolla and it had the same noises, obviously normal.

I'm very picky, a perfectionist. can't help it.
