2003 corolla ce, more problems. does yours do this?

alongside from all the problems im having with all of my lights i noticed to my horror this morning that the tempature needle moves up and down very fast and quite often. i dont think that this should happen and it never did it until this morning.(or i just never noticed it)
now the last brand new car i bought did this and what it meant was that the head gasket was blown. i have a great deal of experience with this issue cause that last car did it 4 times! each time after they fixed it the needle would not move. but as soon as it started moving it was blown again.

does anyone know if this is normal or is there a head gasket problem?

thanks -jay

I doubt is a head gasket problem.. your temperature problem could be something related to the weather in your area.. have you checked your coolant's level?? are you full, half full.. empty? etc.. this could have a lot to do with it.. also.. is the fan on/off when the temperature changes? could be just the fan going ON and cooling the engine, etc, etc..

It could also be an electrical problem with the sender or receiving unit. If you are still in warranty let them deal with it.

Possibly but you need to ask those who make a living repairing such problems.....The Service Department of the dealership where you bought it.
