Well, I finally came into some money, and Im looking for some ways to make my exhaust sound better (and make my car perform better)
I was thinking of a Flowmaster 70 Series (specially made for 4 cylinder cars) with a rolled tip....I also need to get my exhaust leak fixed. would it be wise to enlarge the whole exhaust size ( by like a 1/4 inch from the cat back.)? im just looking for a little decent power and sound ( not real ricy and not that buzzing sound in the upper RPM's
What would you guys suggest? any headers out there?
I have a 20v in my wagon its a ea95 1990 model..different shape to yours but i thick the floor pan is simular..i have factory 20v headers with a 2.5 inch systen including high flow cat and to say money ..works great a muffler from a celeca gt4.it has twin tips in crome and because its from a turbo vechile has f.all baffling..puts out a very nice note with out being to loud! .for you 4afe i would stick with 2.inch system high flow cat get one from the wreakers and the celica muffler..nice and cheap ,will go well, just get your local muffler shop to join it all up

haha.. I was actually thinking about buying a wagon as my beater before.. decided to keep the 89 GTS for now.. but it looks as if it will be for track duties.
Do you have wreaking yards in your local area? as most parts are interchangable from model to model ..dont mean to rub it in but parts here are hangen off the trees lol well at least at the wreakers...as we call it! just a note if you have a map sensor vs a afm put on a pod filter it will help heaps with performance and sound good too ...just a sock will do it (i mean a sock filter) i know the best way to do it just ask!
