AE92 Ae92 Oil Leakin

I recently overhawled my engine, as my rear main seal was busted. Replaced rings big end and mains, as well as replaced sump as it had minor cracks. After doing the motor, I now have a problem whereby if I drive the car hard...the engine seems to push out oil through the every seal on the tappet cover. It seems like the engine is building up pressure. It alos tends to pop out the dip stick as well...and then I have oil all over the engine...It is a 4AF motor, standard carburettor.

Please any infor to resolve this problem will be grately appreciated

Some possibilities, from minor to major.

Is the oil level too high? One can check the level on the dipstick, but is it the OEM dipstick? An aftermarket dipstick might not be calibrated correctly.

Is the PCV valve clogged? ( On m '89 it's a gray plastic valve that plugs into the valve cover. ) If the valve is open, is the tube it goes to clogged?

Could the ring job have gone bad? A compression test should show this. You should probably do this test after a rebuild, whether you have a problem or not.

I'm trying to visualize what would happen if a oil channel got plugged or covered by a mis-installed gasket. But I don't have a good concept of the circulation of the oil in that engine, in spite of having taken one apart. Anyone know how to detect this kind of problem? I've accidentally overfilled a 4A-FE with oil before. The head made a slush-slush-slush sound like a washing machine! However I quickly corrected the problem and the engine runs fine.

Thanks for the reply...

The dip stick is oem...oil level is correct ...except that I have to keep checking as it kicks out allot of oils...so top ups are regular...compression was tested and seems to be ok...as for the PVC valve have not check that one yet...will check that and take it from there...the ait filter seems o be really filled with oil...and this causes my car to smoke allot as well...

Let me take it step by step and start with the PVC valve, first and then see wht to do next

Regards
Fang
