1994 Corolla DX Auto 1.8L Tune-up

Hey all. I'm new to the board - first post! Go easy on me please

I'm at 190,000 miles. I want to save some money and do a tune-up myself. Can you guys give me recommendations for what I need to do. Here's a sample list:

Spark plugs (what type?)
Wires
Rotor & distributor cap (does my car have them)?
Timing (does this need to be set or is it variable and computer controlled?)
Air Filter
Fuel Filter (is this easily accessible?)
PVC Valve (Is there a separate PVC valve filter?)

Anything I'm forgetting?

spark plugs- just get the same type that are stock, either NGK or Denso. those other fancy ones dont do shit, I tried them.
Wires- always a good idea
distributor cap- good idea
timing- I'd leave that alone until the due date (should say somewhere on the timing chain/belt shroud.
Air filter- probably a good idea
Fuel filter- dont bother it's needless work
PCV- I wouldn't bother.
And let me suggest a coolant change!

And if the differential case is a seperate reservoir, see what the service manual says about how often that fluid should be changed. Don't forget the simple things while you are working around the car. Check that your cv joint boots aren't cracked. I think if you have a distributor, timing can be set. At least check it even if you don't want to fiddle with it. It isn't as simple as hooking up a timing light. There are usually some terminals to short together or some vacuum line to block -another reason to own the service manual. If you really want to know where you stand on the "major mechanical parts" of the engine, do a compression test while you have the plugs out.
