Heavy duty clutch hydraulics?
Does anyone know if having a heavy clutch can put undue stress on OEM clutch hydraulics, causing the hydraulics to fail more easily? I just bought an AE92 SX with a heavy clutch and the master cyl. needs replacing, just wondering if the standard replacement part will be sufficient.
My thinking is that the higher force required to disengage a heavier clutch would put more pressure in the hydraulics, possibly causing more stress on the seals, etc... I wouldn't mind hearing what everyone's experience has been with heavy duty clutches.
