USA Would like to introduce myself

Hi.

My name is Michael and I come to you from MN.

I do not have a Toyota as of yet. But will be inheriting one in the next couple of months. I belong to twinturbo.net cuz I have a 300zx. And was looking for a forum based on the corolla. If there are any other corolla forums out there please let me know.

The car?
A 81 Corolla wagon RWD with less than 40k actual miles on the car!!! My great aunt will be leaving this for me as she moves to CA. She has been original owner since day one and been meticulous with the care and maint. of the car. I am lucky to be recieving it. Pristine condition!!!!

I plan to drive this car for a long time!!!!! I've been told that parts will be hard to find even @ a dealer. So I would like to gain as much knowledge of my own about this car per care and maint / repair work so I can be familiar with it myself and DIY.

I hope the car is not to old for the forum. If anyone knows of great informative sites or repair manuels for the car please let me know. Or if anyone knows a lot about this yr/body type in paritcular you would be of great assistance to me in the future Im sure.

Thanks

Thanks.

Hey there! Welcome to TN! Another fellow Wagoneer! ( I own a 91 AE92 Wagon, 5 speed).

You will find lots of information here....and from what I know, that car is not old here...in fact, it'd be great to learn about the old wagons!

Once Again, welcome to TN!

John

So that would be a ke70 then??

As for spare parts, why would you need them those motors don't break.

They are cool little cars you'll love it.

could be a ke?? or a te??

wagon could be loosely defined for SEVERAL old school RWD corolla's

you can make good power with the right motor in that car.....
