Got the same wagon but with a siver top.....for your motor try ..cold air intake with a pod filter...2 inch exaust from the extractors back with a high flow cat and rear can.

Where did you get your extractors ? or did you use 4age manifold...

well it was originally my mums car and apparently before she got it it was imported from japan so i dont know about the extractors origin. is there a proper cool air induction kit for the 4afe or would it have 2 be custom made?

OK big fella This will work and cost jack..

Version A:

replace your air filter with a high flow washable insert and run pipe(eather use agie pipe or simular) insert it to the air box and run it past the batt down through the guard(theres a hole there already) and hock it up to a air induction vent(already ther) it looks like a vacume cleaner att... this will give you cold air and a ram induction setup!

Version B.

SAme as above but put a pod filter at the end of the line and take out your std filter element......you can also put the pod in the air box if ya like but its a tight fit as you want to keep the lid on so it only gets air from the front of the vechile

Hi-Tech Headers in Sydney make headers for the 4A-FE. Got a set of them sitting in my workshop that came off my old engine...

Well the ignition system is prettie good std with the efi..just use good leads and plugs

I'dd go option b. The filter will stay cleaner for longer ..eg no road grime!
If you leave the filter box top off thats fine but not perfect..
if you need to cut it a bit thats cool...
once ya moving the pod will get heaps of freash air any way...
I'm having a guess but (educated that is) this will give the best increase
due to vacume limits in the intace system!

It'll do the job alright...as its cheap as and can be scumed from a building site lol

Try a boat sevice cetre as they have the pipe u need with no holes and its more flexable

you might be able to get an of cut as they use it for long runs down the boat for cable protection ect! ..I grab one today from my mates work to replace my agy pipe lol
