4afe --> 4agze alternator pinouts? HELP plz
I'm having some trouble figuring out the alternator pinouts on my ae92 sedan. The stock engine was a 4afe, which I swapped out for an ae101 4agze. When I did the swap, I kept the 4afe power loom, and used the 4afe alternator. Now I'm trying to swap all the 4agze accessories back on. The JDM alternator, however, has a different plug on it than the one that was on the 4afe. The 4afe plug was round, and had 3 wires, white, yellow with black stripe, and yellow. The white one on the 4afe plug is heavy guage, probably about 10 guage or so and is continuous with the main bolt on white lead (which would be common for both alternators). The 4agze alternator plug, on the other hand, is oval, and has 3 wires, all of which are about 16 or 18 guage. The wires on the 4agze plug are yellow, red with black stripe, and white. Any ideas on the pinout of each plug? I need to hack the 4afe alternator plug off and solder on the 4agze alternator's plug.
