'95 1.6L Rough morning start????

Well it's only happened once so I don't know if it's just a fluke yet or not, but I thought this morning........."Oooops....here we go, I knew it couldn't last!".

I thought my little $1,800 '95 Geo Prizm was gonna finally give up on me just after I did such an awesome brake job on it.

Well, since this morning's first start, it's started great after I dropped the kids off at school, started to go get lunch & started to come back from lunch.

Felt kinda' like a fouled plug or something, but I just replaced the plugs 6 mos ago w/ OEM plugs.

Anyway..........I know it's kinda' vague, but wondered if anybody knew of something common that this could be. Again, just kinda' felt like a fouled plug & after about 30 seconds I could rev thru it & it was fine.

TIA!!!!

Its not frosty or chilly there is it? My '95 used to do that on frosty mornings for some reason. That is until i got the Silvertop. Now it just runs rough all the time...

mine does this from time to time it feels like its running on 3 cylinders instead of four, i think it has to do with it loosing residual fuel pressure then getting air in the system on startup. sometimes i shut it off and restart it but usually it goes away after 15 seconds or so

Cool!

Thanks for the replies guys!!!

It didn't do it this morning so I think it's just a fuel-foul type fluke thing. Sounds about like everybody describes here so I I ain't gonna worry about it!

Thanks again!

Did you change your plug wires when you changed your plugs? I had a wire go bad a few months ago. It started with the symptoms you described and then slowly got worse. Just something to keep an eye on if things start turning south.
