Yaris replacing Corolla?

The Yaris looks a lot like the Corolla, will they phase out the Corolla? Is that why there is no 2007 Corolla's?

Replaces the Echo since it was a very low seller in the US, and the Yaris has been selling like crazy in Europe and I have to agree with the reviews, it does look better than the Echo.

in actual fact its not replacing the corolla, just taking over where it left off since the corolla has become much bigger from its past generations. The yaris hatch has taken over the echo and the yaris sedan looks alot like the older corolla models

yea but the new corolla sucks. I had a guy at the meet come up to me and tell me not to get a new corolla and to keep my ae92. he lowered his and is still sits higher than an ae92.

But...they used the Toyota Aygo, one step smaller than the Yaris.

Top gear rocks
