Good luck dude.. unless you're DIY, you won't swap under $1200.. I don't even have a motor yet and I'm already at almost $500 CDN.. finding a Silvertop 20V for about $500 is easy as I already know of one, that will run me to almost $1000 CDN and that's not even installed yet.. If I get someone to install it, probably about another $1000 or so after its done and I'm not even sure what other parts I would need yet. Unless I do it myself but I don't really know what I'm doing so it would be my first time. I'll need an engine hoist and some air tools which I don't have, and probably other things I don't know about.

Dropping it is easy, getting the motor to run and doing the wiring and hook up will take you longer. Like I said.. as long as you have the tools and the parts you need, you can DIY and probably do it for about $1500.

And yes.. its better if you start with a GTS, everyone will tell you that. I've seen some nice sedans done though, but after a few upgrades done.
