you would need alot for it. first doesn't the ecu control it? you need the module for it and without the speed sensors on the wheels you won't have the abs working it
which means you might need to replace all your rotor if thats what the sensors are on, might be on the hub...

abs is alot easier to turn off then to put on

Often theres a separate ABS controller for it.

Granted ABS is easy to take off, but installing one from another car isnt really that big of an issue, find a wrecked car where you take all the stuff off from and then start modding them to your car.

Ok... To fiut ABS onto an AE101 (Your silvertop came with ABS), you will need the controller, the Accel/decel sensor (under centre console), the pump, lines and sensors on the hubs.

So you will need all 4 hubs. This isnt possible with the All-trac unless u can source an AE101 Sedan w/alltrac and with ABS. The alltrac AE101 was rare, to get one with ABS is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Good luck, try going to NZ to source one. But in all honesty, i'm having enough trouble finding one that just had alltrac so i can pinch the drivetrain off it, so i doubt you will have any luck with ABS hubs.

In all honesty tho. Do you have a Silvertop wiring harness? If not.. Probably dont bother. I had a hard enough time trying to find all the wires and where they went trying to get rid of them, let alone trying to find where they go off the sensors and controllers themselves. But i do have all the bits and pieces sitting in my shed. I decided to scrap the idea, and just put it in the too hard basket.

Good luck though..

You could probably fabricate a hall sensor system for the existing hubs, but you're on your own on that one.

Abs sucking is a subjective opinion, if it really sucked, then manufacteures wouldnt put it in cars. It helps in situations that are close to the limit. Well who said to take it from an AE92.

some ae92's had them.
Well they might think the abs sucks because it's an older car, the newer systems are more responsive.
ANd yea it's a matter of opinion. I prefer non abs. One less thing to fuck up. And it's a good thing to learn to not have since I like older cars.
I just hate that abs is always tryin to come on in the winter when I don't need it to be >.<
